Lesson 2. Cottage with Daffodils
Hello! The second lesson of the Free Drawing Course for Beginners is out! In this lesson, you'll draw a charming English cottage surrounded by daffodils. You'll learn how to capture the texture of a thatched roof and the stone walls of the house, making it feel cozy and authentic. You’ll also explore how to create vibrant flower beds with watercolor. Additionally, you'll practice blending soft washes for a dreamy background and add depth with shadows to give your scene a three-dimensional effect.
Reference
The paper size is 15x15 cm (6x6 inches). You can use an A5 format and trim it into a square or simply draw in the center of an A5 paper.
