Let’s capture the feeling of autumn in one cozy watercolor sketch! We’ll paint a seasonal drink topped with whipped cream and a sugar donut, surrounded by a soft, glowing background. Along the way, we’ll play with warm autumn colors, beautiful textures, light and shadow, and expressive linework to bring every little detail to life.

A playful and atmospheric project filled with everything we love about autumn!

For this lesson, you will need the following materials:

Pencil and eraser
Pencil HB and eraser (e.g. Koh-i-Noor, kneadable eraser Faber Castell)

Liner
Waterproof black liner 0.1 / 0.2 (Pigma Micron, Uni Pin, Shinhan Touch) or waterproof black ballpoint pen

Brushes
Brushes for watercolor (round and synthetic/kolinsky sable) №2-3 and №6-8. Anastasia is using: Cornelissen Series 80A Kolinsky Sable 2, 7 and 10.

Watercolor paper
Cellulose / 25% cotton, 200-300 gsm, e.g. Fabriano. The paper size is A5 format.

Additional Materials
White acrilyc marker Posca 0.7, white gel pen Sakura Gelly Roll 0.8 (not glaze, not souffle), glass for water, napkins, masking tape (washi tape) and palette.
